Candice has been pole dancing since 2013 and admittedly found it far more difficult than she initially expected when she walked into her first class.
“My journey since then has been LIFE CHANGING in immeasurable ways… pole dancing has brought me incredible gifts and lessons. Two of the biggest gifts include the ability to appreciate my body and love what it can do, and the community of beautiful souls that have become a part of my life, years later I am still in awe of this community. While it offers a great way to find some form of balance between my love of carbs and my intense desire to have abs, more than that pole dancing helped me find myself. And I fell in love with her.
I became an instructor in 2017 and LOVE teaching! I am honoured to have the opportunity to be a part of each of my student’s pole journey. Nothing brings me more joy than watching each of them grow, find joy, and find themselves through their pole journey.
I love competing (although if you ask me during prep I’ll tell you the opposite) and have competed in doubles and solo across the art and classique divisions.
Through pole dancing I am empowered, I am filled with gratitude and I belong.”
