Claudia started her dance career at the age of 5, doing ballet and modern at a few studios in her neighbourhood. Thereafter she attended Pro Arte high school and with ballet as her major, she was exposed to more ballet styles and contemporary. She was accepted into the Musical Theatre course at Tshwane University where the curriculum included singing, acting and several styles of dance including jazz, contemporary, African and tap. Here she really found her niche as a dancer. She was a favourite amongst top South African jazz choreographers and went on to a career in Musical Theatre, dance and choreography before moving away from professional performance completely.
Claudia started pole dance about 7 years ago and loved how different it was to what she was accustomed. She has performed at several events and competitions over the years.
“I want to share my knowledge with the students, so their dance experience is enriched and their performances nuanced and expressive.”
