I was approached by a friend that did pole dancing who tried to convince me to give it a go. With a great lack of confidence, after terrible weight gain, I could not see myself bare legged in a class with other girls. After having my boy I decided that I had to do something for myself. I gathered some friends, did some enquiries and on the 14th of January 2013 we started what had ultimately become the best “me-time” I have ever invested in. Pole dancing has given me the confidence that I lacked, helped me regain my sense of self and motivated me to change my lifestyle to aid what I was aiming to achieve.

With wonderful, humble instructors to assist all the way, I have reached a point where being sick is an inconvenience for no other reason than missing class. Making friends has become the norm but the personal growth is what keeps me hooked. I am showered with endless compliments constantly which is a great reminder to why I do what I do and love it so much.

Pole dancing is not simply something you do, it is something you cannot do without!
